IN THE STONE CITY
Stone City Hostel lives in a traditional stone house in the old town of Gjirokastër, the UNESCO-listed “stone city”, a short walk from the bazaar and the castle. Thoughtfully decorated and impeccably clean, it is social but intimate: the kind of place guests keep coming back to.
Take a bed in one of the dorms or a high-quality private room. Wooden ceilings, warm curtains and windows onto the old town, all kept impeccably clean. Families are welcome too, right down to a toy box for the little ones.
Breakfast is included and served at one long shared table: a delicious start and the easiest way to meet the other guests. Afterwards the terrace under the stone roofs is yours, with flowers, fairy lights and a mountain view, made for a good book.
